The splash is obviously based on the pope.
I thought it looked more like an MiB reference, but that could be the reference too.
When I first saw the splash I thought of Adam Jensen.
The tentacles in his background belong to baron. Proves that Riot considers Xin to be a meta jungler.
Now people can finally stop taking him top because that's not where he belongs.
