Upset about the lore

first of all I know most people don't really care about the lore of the game and more or so are just here to play. but I for one who really likes the lore and really likes to get to know the character Im playing. im VERY upset with the lore. I was really upset when new champs came out they had little to no lore. but now not only is that an issue. any champion who gets reworked has there lore erased and dumbed down. I could list of TONS of champs that are like that now. and in fact its really sickening. riot if you see this I want you to know im disappointed. did you give up on the creativity? do you not take pride in the backgrounds of champs and there homelands? or have you just gotten to the point where you no longer care. theres still some champions who have there original and complete lore. please keep it that way. and please bring back the others. watching it slowly happen really sucks and makes me want to play the game less and less and I know im not the only one who thinks about it. after the bilgwater act went on. how gankplank graves miss fortune ect ect. lost there lore. and were given a new one. witch is nothing but a few sentences. I remember a time where I could spend hours reading the lore. or just picking a homeland and reading champions that reside in it. I loved learning more about demacia and noxus. zaun and all of them. I loved knowing all the the connections they had with each other and other places. I loved the fact it USE TO EXPLAIN why graves and twisted fate were connected and why graves hates him now. but nope. after the bilgwater that no longer exists. if anything why couldn't lore just have been added on? not changed and neglected. I honestly feel like you guys only care about the 2% of players. and not even about the game or its original fan base.. im sorry but you lost a fan

Eeek, wall of text.

You're not alone in that sentiment though buddy.

The current team working on Lore doesn't seem (to me at least) to respect the original lore, based on the haphazard way they are developing it.

Lore updates are fewer and farther apart than ever, and with the exception of the Bilgewater lore, most of the stuff that was released feels substandard when compared to the lore it was replacing.

I think the BIlgewater event was really awesome, but I don't necessarily think it's the best direction for Riot to take Runeterra's narrative in the long term.

I doubt we'll seem much more TF or Graves lore development over the next few years, if Riot continues in the direction we've seen the last year.

RIot's approach to lore lately has been to do a big event every once in awhile, and have those champions that are featured within that event have some lore development/retconning.

**Riot doesn't seem to want to give us frequent updates on the goings on in Runeterra outside of these few and far between events that only feature specific champions. **

They seem to want to slap a group of champions into an event every few months, with a greater emphasis on retconning old lore than building upon what was already there.

I'll admit Riot's getting better at it, but that still doesn't mean I like the method.

Have you been to their champion pages recently? GP, MF, as well as Graves and TF have been given longer stories.

The "short bios" are temporary for all who still have them, some just more temporary than others.
