Now maybe there's more coming, but I feel like the rework stripped the character off of the Festive Maokai skin. He lost the ornaments. The new tree leaves look like green blobs with little texture and do not resemble a Christmas tree at all. But the really painful thing is the new ult. Gone are the gingerbread trees and mistletoe at the edges. If this is the planned final version of Festive Maokai, it is large downgrade for one of my favorite skins with nothing replacing what is lost. :(

I've already stated my case elsewhere, but I totally agree. This skin got downgraded majorly, and it was one of his best skins.

Ugh, I didn't even check haunted Maokai because I thought they were more or less leaving him alone.

Riot, please unnerf the Maokai seasonal skins effects/model. I have and love both and they both look worse now. :-(

I actually feel like you do but with HAUNTED Maokai.. :/ They removed the grave/graves from his particles (Can be seen mostly in Q) and his ult just doesn't feel spooky enough and looks too similar to the default ult particles.. It's good, but it could be better. SPOOKIER.

I actually disliked Festive Maokai pre-VU, because the quality was really bad compared to my Haunted Maokai, but now I like it more than Haunted Maokai, I just love that skin now. :D

I think his model looks much, much better now and his ult does have mistletoe on the edges! I think this skin had the biggest improvement actually.
