Question about Gangplank

Being a famous pirate, Gangplank became known by his moniker. However, even in his lore his father's first name is mentioned (Vincent the Shadow). A lot of real life pirates have their full name known. Does Gangplank have a name in LoL, such as John "Gangplank" Walker? Is this something that the lore team will address as they rewrite lore?
