Valeeva weapon (Darkin lore)

So we know that Aatrox, Varus, Rhaast and Valeeva are four Darkin who've all found hosts. Aatrox is killing things and preparing to take over Tryndamere, Varus is looking for Valeeva and trying to overcome Kai and Valmar, Rhaast is trying to gain control of Kayn to destroy stuff, and Valeeva is MIA. The fifth Darkin hasn't found a host (this isn't confirmed but from Darkin lore and quotes it's very very likely), so it's just a weapon sitting somewhere. It may be Cebatoru, Naganeka, or a previously unmentioned Darkin. Personally I'm hoping it's unmentioned because "Cebatoru" and "Naganeka" seem like tonguetwisters that would be inconvenient for playing the game.

My question, that's only meant to satisfy me personally, is what Valeeva's weapon is. The fifth Darkin could be anything - spear, dagger, axe, hammer, Graves' cigar - but Valeeva is, in my opinion, a ranged or semi-ranged weapon. This is entirely my opinion, it's not even a theory. There's nothing known about her weapon, but since her brother or close friend or whatever is a ranged weapon I figure she possibly is too. She can't be a gun because they didn't exist when she was Ascended, and she could be a bow ("The Darkin Bow" is still available as a title because nobody's bothered to update Varus' yet), but Twilight of the Gods suggests that each Darkin has an individual weapon.

So what are ranged weapons that aren't guns or bows?

Again, nobody at Riot has probably thought about this because if we ever are getting Valeeva as a champion it won't be soon, so this is just my opinion and I don't expect it to be right.

I've always felt one of the Darkin should kind of a mage-like one, that comes from a staff / scepter

Sivir’s Chalicar, Nidalee’s spear, Thresh’s chain, Draven’s throwing axes, Katarina’s knives, Teemo’s blow darts, Rengar’s bola, Ezreal’s gauntlet, Gragas’s casks, Jarvan’s extending spear, Zigg’s bombs, Dragonwing Corki’s fireworks...

What would be super cool is if one of the Darkin were a cannon. Like an actual twelve-pounder or something. A buff melee champion who smacks things with a solid metal cannon and fires it for abilities sounds absolutely wicked.

Another option for a true ranged champion could be a whip or lasso. Or some magical artifact that fires bursts of some sort of energy, but that’s a lame shortcut.

I would like the last two Darkin to be support and mid. A mage and a tank

Ranged weapon is already covered, since we won't get many more Darkin I would like to get as many different archetypes as possible. A defensive weapon like a shield would be awesome and since all the Darkin we know of has been big, I would like a small weapon in the cast, too. Something that you can actually hide, like a katar, dagger or anything like that.
