Maybe this should've come with the Summoner's Rift update-

All items available in the in-game shop (save for a few that have been added or reworked since the Rift's makeover) have outdated icons. I think it's time (well, past time, really) the items in League of Legends received updated icons.

It isn't fair for items like Ravenous Hydra and Randuin's Omen to receive updated icons strictly based champion updates (the Juggernaut update) leaving every other item in the game waiting for relative gameplay updates to receive new icons.

Only updating a few icons at a time will leave the shop feeling out of place, moreso than it does now, with half of the items using new, updated icons and half of them using the icons they've had for years. I understand it might be quite difficult to recapture the feel of certain items in League of Legends, especially when a lot of them may need work in the future, but updating only a few at a time isn't helping much in the long run.

Similar to a few months ago when a slew of champions received brand new splash arts with no connected gameplay updates, I believe its fair to say that the items in the shop deserve a similar treatment.
