Bring back Journal of Justice

Hello, riot I know you probably won't read this and you've said before you don't care about lore, but I was just wondering why did you think it was a good idea to quit making the journal of justice? I joined after they quit making them but I went back and read all of them, and they were pretty entertaining to read. They added depth to characters and to the scenery of league. Suddenly you decided lore wasn't important because you felt it was a waste of money and time. Though you probably wouldn't listen anyway. You make empty promises and you lie, it is like you don't even listen to any players anymore except for pros and people on reddit. Make them game designed for the normal everyday player not faker or dyrus. I thoroughly enjoy this game but as the seasons have gone by the game has just gotten worse with lazy writing and quick cash grabs. Over sexualizing champions(Ahri , Riven, Urgot ) to try make money, which I understand because your a business. Please, dont just lie to my face and say you care about your consumers opinions when you blatantly lie over and over and give them the exact opposite of what they want.

Even if it were just "Runterran Journals: A Glimpse Into Champion's Lives" and was a serialized collection of updates on champion's and what they're up to, entirely divorced from the now-defunct League of Legends and etc. we'd still never see it. That would mean the lore team would need to write more than 2 or 3 sentences a month, and we can't have that. I mean, just look at the recent Q&A. Loping Cinder had other people typing out most of their responses for him/her.

I agree with most of what OP said, I'm tired of seeing lore being blatantly disregarded. I mean, have you seen the lore pages on champions such as Rammus , Azir ,Ezreal , and Sivir ? It's really pitiful and it shows an uncaring attitude toward the lore.

Riot cares more about promoting a fotm meta, in which they arbitrarily buff some champs and destroy others(cough Patch 5.4 cough) ,than they do about actual game balance or the amazing story the game could have had if anyone at Riot cared enough to write some good lore.

If only I could've found League back when it was all I wanted to see accomplished in game storytelling, instead of joining just when they decide to rip it all out and leave the whole there gaping at us.

I also really liked having an in-universe newspaper. It was very immersive.

Factions has a JoJ-esque paper, The Summoner's Herald, which you might enjoy. The first issue's "illuminating retrospective" reaches back to the JoJ era and picks up where it left off. There's some neat fanart, too.
