Why would it? Sonas etwahl is magical,but there is nothing that suggests it could help ahri in any way.(not to mention is that Ahri drains the life on purpose,she has full control over it,Ahris real problem is that she isn't human)

The thing is, Sona's etwhal can heal people, but it doesn't provide the life essence that Ahri needs/wants. Sona's instrument can heal physical wounds, but Ahri needs to claim someone's life in order to become more human.

So to answer your question: No. Sona's etwahl could not save Ahri. Neither would it save Sona if Ahri decided to take Sona's life essence.

I think the problem is less that people wont accept Ahri as human and more that Ahri wants to be completely human. She will think she's missing out on something if she hasn't completely transformed into a human.

As long as Ahri acted civil and meant no harm to people, I'm almost certain she would be accepted amongst people in Ionia, as we can assume Wukong is accepted there as well.

She acted completely like this in her original lore She was a selfish and evil individual who would kill people for her own gain. As she killed more people, she developed a guilty conscience and went from Chaotic Evil to Chaotic Neutral. This hasn't changed in her new lore at all.

Based on her short story, she seems fine with tearing out Noxian raider's souls. For now.

Ahri is not a perfect snowflake. She is a good example of a flawed character in that her desires are beginning to counteract her actions. She's placed into a moral quandary as to what is and what isn't acceptable, and as to whether she deserves what she wants at all.

Yeah, exactly as Trolosaurus said. Her new lore is the same as her old, she was never changed, they only added a color text. It has always been canon that she began to feel increasingly guilty as she took more lives.

However Ahri is specifically based on the korean myth of the Gumiho/Kumiho,because the Kumiho is said to be a fox that transforms into a beautiful woman to seduce men(just like Ahri was a fox who turned into a seductress) and that if she ate 100 human hearts/livers(depending on the myth),she would become a human,which mirrors how Ahri used to consume the souls of her victims to become human.
