Why are people saying, "well harrowing isn't coming this year. " Its pretty obvious that its coming between Tuesday and Thursday. Calm yourselves and just be patient. Riot already said they were doing it differently. So basically they already gave you guys a warning. If this ruined your Halloween spirit then no offense but you need to grow up. People wanted harrowing during the month of Halloween. I think people are more pissed (like me) that riot dedicates most of their focus on Esports and with worlds being on Halloweens week it took away any harrowing event that riot planned. Riot needs to not put so much focus on Esports and worry about casual LoL players more. I've seen how big their staff is and with the little amount of content they make, it seems like people do a whole lot of nothing and just fool around and have fun at the office.
The Harrowing started out as League's version of Halloween. Damn near every MMO has ingame holidays.
if Riot wants to move the event away from being LoL's version of Halloween, that's fine. But rename the event, and stop making Halloween/spooky skins to be released in November.
That's like making a Santa-themed Bard skin and releasing in in February, because 'Snowdown isn't about Christmas anymore'.
Wouldn't you be pissed if everyone just decided to push Halloween off until Thanksgiving? Same thing.
The jarring thing is that people now misinterpret the quote "the harrowing can be any time in the year",since that quote was talking about the lore,not the celebration of halloween.
Not to mention that we know that they prepared some halloween skins,so its not like they'll delay it for long.
