I've always wondered which champ has a real nice background and I personally believe Aatrox's lore is real interesting and before aatrox had no friends until Tahm came in, really confusing. I wonder who the other 4 darkins are...
Lissandra has the coolest lore, or Anivia... you know... they are cool.

Sion's new Lore is really good, especially if you look at some of the design documents that went with it that point out some of the interesting details of his body. His jaw is Jarvan I's crown, for example, and his shoulder armor is deliberately meant to resemble Darius' because he was the original Hand Of Noxus. The detail work is just nice.
I was also a big fan of old Warwick, back when it was Soraka's curse that turned him from a master chemist to a werewolf. I liked that one a little better because instead of trying to fix it, he embraced it and just decided to start attacking people up close with claws instead of far away with bombs. Warwick was always a monster, all Soraka accomplished was making him look like one. I thought that characterized him really well.
I'm a fan of Blitzcrank too. Big robot just trying to find his way in the world.
for me has the most interesting, unique, and mysterious background. Although her story revolves around secrecy and treachery (which is the point of her cult ''The Black Rose''), I still like it that way even though I'm dying to get to know her story. I ''personally'' think the reason for the lack of attention is because they hate her ''gameplay wise'' and thus she gets avoided :(

He stared into the darkness for power, and saw a force that he could not allow into our world. He could have become the worst villain of runeterra, but he had enough humanity to become the most heroic.

lore because it tells how actually depressed she is. She was forced into the military by her parents, just like how 
was, and only joins the league because "she has nothing left."
