Championship Thresh

Hello, i recently got Championship Thresh shard from augment chest and i was wondering if it was special or not? My friends were like freaking out how lucky i got but some say its just a normal skin, just a 975 rp legacy skin, nothing special about it. Im really happy about it tho cuz that skin looks damn awesome. I also got SSW Thresh shard so i guess i'd rather want to unlock championship instead of it? Btw thanx riot for the new limited time system :] !

So question is, how rare it is to get? Is it even a rare skin?

Championship skins (not including Riven's) are available for purchase during Worlds. However, they alternate which ones are available each year so there isn't a guarantee that it will be this year, but I could be wrong. Championship Riven is available to players who score the highest point totals when predicting which teams will win.

Yep, they will post on the News page which bundles and special skins are available to be purchased. And they are purchasable from the Store.

Yo championship thresh was from s3 championships every year they release new skins during championship times.So is it a rare skin?Kinda every time during championships u can comeback and buy these skins but sometimes they don't allow you to so yes it is a good catch and a good find*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

The Championship Thresh skin is more uncommon but not rare. Every worlds a couple championship skins are available for purchase and thresh has been included in those sales. Not sure if he will be available again this year as I recall them mentioning that the same champ skins will available on rotating years. The only Championship skin that is considered rare and has not been available for sale is Riven's.
