Riot, Your possibilities are endless! Literally, take full advantage!

A friend of mine and I were talking yesterday and we think RIOT can really expand their ideas and branding to more than just clothing, in game development and hosting events, etc.

One of the main things we discussed yesterday was the amount of short cinematic films that are frequently found on their YouTube page. I think they are so amazing, & we'd like to see longer, more fulfilling movies, anime, or scenes of backstories that address unanswered questions in champion lores. And for a specific example, areas like the void, to which we still don't know much about could be addressed. Another example (Definitely not too pressing, because it was just released) is the recent story about Riven & Yasuo - which I thoroughly enjoyed. What happens next? Where does Yasuo go now? What's Riven's path of redemption like now after encountering the people she's hurt? We want a constant progression of character story development, as their stories should grow with the game.

Even with Skin-lines that represent completely alternate universes (e.g. Project, Star Guardians, Arcade) can be expanded to more than just short stories or 2-3 minute animations. Truthfully, if RIOT can amass a dedicated team of people with ideas and a budget to develop the aforementioned into actual separate realities which then can be expanded to things like a series, or just connecting these champions together in the huge world of Runterra we'd feel SOOOO much more fulfilled.

TLDR: Riot can expand their skin-line and character stories into more than just short films / 3-5 paragraph reads. We'd like to see things like movies, series, anime, and a completion of character stories from places we know nothing about (Void, Shadow Isles, etc). A constant development of character stories, if you will.

Please, let me know your thoughts on the matter! [sg-ahri-2]

They said they wanna hold off on movies and the such due to the fact that they wanna wait and get their canon lore fully settled. In addition, they brought up that VGM don't do very well.

The problem with this is that if they do decide to make a movie or anime series or whatever it may be, it'll be too late.

Like Slender-Man, the craze is deader than dead. Sony is releasing it 6 years after Slender-Man was actually relevant.

Like Warcraft, the craze was less dead, but the Warcraft universe isn't nearly relevant enough to warrant a successful movie.

The problem is that these "billion-dollar ideas" come far too late, when everything's dead and done. Take Five Nights At Freddy's for example. A year or two ago would have been GREAT for releasing the game, but instead it'll be released some time in the future.

Hence, Riot is letting this advantage slip through their fingers. By the time they WANT to make a movie, the League craze will have died-- or at least, fallen to the level that a movie would be far too unsuccessful, unless Riot was to release a League Of Legends sequel/prequel/spinoff game.
