can we either have the old skin/artwork back or get a new one. This texture/artwork rework isn't as good as the old one.

Agreed. Ethically, a texture rework should be an attempt at rendering the same thing in a new style. The tail alone indicates that retaining the same design as the original wasn't a priority. Sucks for those of us who already bought this skin.
I agree, what I payed for and what they are changing her into are not the same thing.
