Thank you rito for finally giving us somewhat of a lore team! I think that you did an AMAZING job with picking the key lore that needs to be discussed in 2018 especially the mysterious darkin which I hope that he is in the freljord and helping Lissandra or even being used by her :D NOW to the real thing that we have been waiting for for half a decade.. THE WATCHERS!! Lissandra has been whispering in our ear for about 5 years now that the watchers will return as she has been corrupting,chanting and infecting everyone and everything in the freljord. In 2018 can you finally give us an update on Lissandra, how far along is she with her plan? Will the watchers finally return? Will she finally corrupt anivia? Is she in posession of the world rune? Will Ryze have to fight her? How about Brand? please let her win .... LETS BRING SOME WAR TO RUNETERRA!!!

She'll get justice this year - She HAS to. Her buffs are supposedly in 8.6 and somewhere later in the year she might get her lore brought up to present

You totally remind me of myself year or two ago when I got in Leauges lore,i was all about Freljord aswell and hoping something soon will come out for it (and it did not T_T ) but anyways If Lissandra got lore updated it would change the whole Freljord meaning it would be a huge lore update and to be honest I don't think its gona happen any time soon. Freljord is as far as we know the oldest place that got inhabited by champions ( looking at you Ornn ) and through out its history we have not gotten many informations ( War between 3 sisters ) and what we knew so far got hit by new Swain and his interactions ( to Ashe "She claimed it was the Frost Queen's grave. They believed her." ) By current lore its clear that the great war for Freljord will be next thing happening in the northern Valoran causing many things Runeterra wide so I really don't think its time to do something crazy as that but don't worry,maybe they update us on Watchers or something similar to it,you never know whats Riot cooking for us.

Well we are likely getting a Nunu VGU this year and with an announcement of getting more smaller lore updates it is pretty safe to say that we will return to the freljord at least once this year(the 4 factions named in the article merely listed the next 4 of the year).

That being said,I think it is more likely that they'll try to reestablish the factions/the conflict of the freljord,as that hasn't been done after the retcon.
