I'm bothered by the amount of Zyra skins. I main her and I am wondering if there will be any new skins for her anytime soon? I've been playing Zyra since she first came out. Since her release she has only had 3 skins, one of which is gone now. Please Riot, could you create a new Zyra skin?
I have no doubt they are working on a skin for her (most likely), but if I recall, they said Zyra was especially tricky to make skins for because of the multiple models they have to create (seeds, plants, passive, plus Zyra's model).
I've heard a couple of discussions regarding zyra skins on the interwebs. The typical zyra skin hype that everybody seems to be expecting is a lotus/death blossom type of skin. Something to do with flowers and such. I'd like it if we didn't go with that idea actually. I think Riot should go out of bounds with her skin and think of creating a design that doesn't call for the typical "zyra is a plant mage so we should give her a plant/flower skin". I mean I'm sure blossom/lotus skins would look amazing but I'm hoping to be suprised and taken aback by any upcoming zyra skins. I've heard a couple discussions on a Void zyra but that doesn't really match her concept, that would be mushing her in with fizz, malz, vel, where she doesn't really seem to belong. Since she already has a haunted zyra skin I wouldn't want her to get a void (they both have an aura of darkness, halloweeny vibe). Most her skins are fierce or rather fierce looking (excluding SKT). I just think her next skin should make her look playful, colorful, something like her having a devlish smile in the splash but also looking approachable, etc. [Elderwood zyra, Rainforest zyra, Headhunter zyra, ETC]
The reason she had only 3 skins is that on the one hand,Zyra is one of the most resource intensive champs in the game(she has additional models for her spells and her plants).
Also she got a rework during the mage update,so it is likely that skin team avoided her on purpose until the rework was out.
I've been playing Zyra for a long long long time would love to see new Zyra skin. :)
