The problem was that everybody got on the DhaMa hype train and didn't even stop to consider that the result was not based on DhaMa at all. It wasn't "We are making DhaMa, but differenly", it was "We aren't making DhaMa".

That would be just fine, if the lore didn't go with the whole thing, they are one person split in two. So it doesn't really make any sense why one side is so everpresent whereas the other one just kindof hangs there. It isn't even the one that would make more sense, a timid lamb that rarely attacks and only comes in on a few spells, now that would make sense.
