Orianna's lore, will it ever get an update?
Orianna is one of the most constantly good champions in league. One of Riot's biggest achievements in terms of balance with her being always a good pick no matter what while rarely being overbearing (if we ignore her release). However, looking through most champions who have a base concept that would work without the League, Orianna seems to be one of the few champions left, whose lore does not fit at all with the current state of the story.
For those who are not aware of what I am talking about, Orianna is basically League's version of Astroboy. A girl wanted to become a champion for the League of Legends but when she practiced to become one, the training turret malfunctioned and shot her to death. Her father, who was a genius in the construct of hextech machinery, could not get over losing his daughter so he started to built a replica of her and gave her a name. He played Orianna's memories into her hardware and sent her out to become a League champion, which worked cause that guy basically constructed a killer machine.
Now the question is, how would that work without the League? What is it that drives this girl to this accident? What motivates the father to implement her with weaponary and the Ball? Orianna is a really cool and pretty interesting champions on so many levels, but her lore does not make sense anymore.
