Urf and The New Lore

Hello people :D! With all these new changes to the lore, and the removal of the League within the context of the world of the game, I was wondering, What is going to happen to Urf?, I don't know if this is something inappropriate to ask, or just to early to ask, but i am too curious to know what is going to happen to the manatee. Correct me if I'm wrong, but before, Urf was a guy(?) who happened to love the League so much, that He decided to join and He eventually got item 3072 ed byWarwick. So I was wondering, In this new world of Runeterra, Is Urf is alive because he never joined the League?, Is He dead because He died in a similar way to WW? , Did WW really killed him? Does He play a bigger role in this new story? Or Is He just canon within the context of the game, and He doesn't actually exist in the story? I know he's supposed to be just some April's Fool character, but it would be cool to see him having a better role both in the game and in the story. what are you guys' thoughts on this topic? I would like to know :D

The way I picture it is like this: the Legends still exist, but the League doesn't.

These heroes are the most powerful people/werewolves/energy beings in Runeterra. They're legendary.

I could see Urf training to be one of those legendary heroes and basically getting offed by Warwick without Warwick even giving a crap. The guy's a hunter, and he saw some tasty tasty manatee ripe for the killing.

Urf stands as a folk hero and martyr to his people (maybe Bilgewater) and serves as a reminder to the common folk that not all of these legends are looking out for their safety.

Urf was a April Fools' character; funny, but not canon.
