Omega Squad Teemo shows he isn't alone in the jungle.

Was looking over the Omega Squad Teemo log-in today when I noticed a little detail I haven't seen mentioned yet on the forums.

If you watch carefully you'll notice that Teemo's ears and eyes twitch during the animation, he looks like he's reacting to some unknown creature in the jungle around him, something dangerous no doubt. However...

If you pay close attention to his goggles, you'll see the reflection of a figure that is standing in front of him, one that is at blow gun point, holding their weapon down in a passive, yet defensive posture in front of Teemo. This person obviously isn't hostile as of yet, and they have got to be someone that Teemo knows or they'd likely have been killed or in battle within moments.

Now, if we take this information that Teemo isn't alone in the jungle and isn't reacting to an unknown creature prowling in the brush, we are left with only one conclusion: Teemo's ear twitch and eyes opening are not a facial tick, they're him reacting to the person in front of him trying to talk him down and out of his combative state of mind. The reflection never shows signs of turning hostile through the entire two minute long animation, and Teemo is adjusting the grip on the stock through the entire segment, if he was this close to someone that a shadow this large is cast on his goggles and an enemy, he'd of attacked by then, not listened to their words like they're an old comrade.

So this leaves us with a puzzle, who is the person in the reflection? It would have to be someone that isn't on Teemo's trophy wall.

It could be Leona, or Garen, heck even Helmet Bro before Teemo got his helmet! If you click on Helmet Bro's helmet on the table Teemo's voice over isn't negative like with all of the other objects, instead he seems almost excited about having it. Maybe Helmet Bro gave him the helm as a sign of good faith?

Could this all be my imagination? D:

Interesting... it would make sense if the person is summoner 7 Helmet Bro.

As you said, he is allied with Omega Squad Teemo, but Teemo thinks that he died. However, we all know that Helmet Bro never dies and Riot loves to put him in splash arts..

So, If Helmet Bro appears in middle of the jungle, Alive... Teemo would... well... react like in the splash art.

Teemo "WHO ARE YOU?"

summoner 7 "You know who I'm. Teemo, I'm you Helmet Brother."

Teemo "T-That is impossible! I saw how Battlecast Velkoz killed you!"

summoner 7 "... Teemo, Teemo, Teemo... you really think that a simple laser can kill me?"

Same here. That thing exactly looks like Trundle meanwhile it has wings so might be Aatrox. Mind = Blown. I hope its a new champ tho.

Whoa didn't notice that.

The figure has a long weapon(looks like either a sword or a club) and seemingly broad shoulders,which would speak for garen,but the figure seems a bit too slim for garen and the shoulders might be too big even for him.

Maybe its a teaser for a new champion? I mean winter wonder lulus splash art has a poro with a moustache in it,which was a teaser for braum,so they have done this already before.

Floofy Tail, what I see is a cross on the reflection of his goggles, and the cross is drawn at an angle that makes it clear Teemo is pointing at it with his gun.

We see this world through the perspective of our beliefs. I enjoyed seeing this through your perspective, although it would be clearer for me to see what you see if you do what I am going to: draw the lines that I see in a different color (below):

If you take into account that one of Teemo's quotes is "I used to live by a code" and that his log-in splash is him pointing a gun at the cross, this story arch can be interpreted as a good and innocent being falling from grace and losing his faith.

Looking at it after your statement, I can see how it can look like a cross, and indeed it could be one. As you requested I have gone in and taken screens of the log-in at three different moments, zoomed in and drawn lines over some key areas that make me feel it could be more than a cross we're looking at.

Line 1: The base of what can be perceived as a sword or cross arm underlined to show the height change. (It will be even more extreme in the animated splash as it does raise to a near 45 degree angle.

Lines 2: A small section that to me shows that the object above line 1 is actually bisected at this point, and becomes connected as the object above line 1 raises and lowers. Ultimately I can't prove this though with my tools as pixel distortion is going to blur lines. You are correct that this is very much to each of our perceptions here. :)

Line 3: I just wanted to draw a bit of attention to the distorted top of this object as it's not a perfect line when you focus in on it, it's actually fairly large at the top, even with the blurry picture it looks as if it con-caves in the center, much like a pauldron can.

Honestly though, I'm interested in hearing what anyone thinks, I just thought this was an interesting little detail that stood out to me.

To me it still feels like an entity more than an object as the movement doesn't quite make sense for an object, especially one that would generally be static, if you follow the verticle line of the object down into the water it never shifts from left to right violently, yet the horizontal line moves an incredible amount even without Teemo moving his head as if something is drawing it up, much like what may happen if a person were holding a long sword at rest and breathing, or speaking with vigor.

I do love your take on it though, it has a very poetic background to it. :)

I'm almost positive that's just one of his mines in the water, and yet another distorted reflection of the same mine in the water next to it.

Oh my gosh I think its Tristana I mean, look at his lore. And then look at the last quote. Tristana undoubtedly knows he's a bit of a murder-freak and a warlord, and her personality I think would cover that aspect of trying to get him out of it. Plus, I think a Teemo that screwed up would only be knocked out of it like that by someone he loves(aka tristana, "romantic relationship").

EDIT: Maybe not... the reflection looks nothing like Tristana. Idk though

Hi... I know I'm late to the party but I think the reflection you see is actually Ekko.... it wouldn't be the first time Riot has put a hint about a new champion in a splash art and I know it wont be the last. xD
