Thoughts on Kallista

Since Kallista is causing such a stir, I have a few theories that might help explain this new champ. First off, Kallista has a lot of puppet mastery around him/her, I find this difficult to believe that he could be a "good" aligned champ, possibly chaotic neutral because of the black mist being more a form of nature then a malevolent force. Kallista is the spirits of the betrayed, come to seek their revenge (more on that later).

Also a lot of "sea" imagery and "flags" have been thoerised to be connected to him/her/it. So I think he/she/it is probably an undead pirate of somekind or something to do with ships and the sea, possibly inspiration drawn from the similarly named "Calypso" in Pirates of the Caribbean.

As we know, there are 7 champs that have black mist form around them on the website. All of these champs have betrayed and/or decieved people in their quest for power and most are evil. If this is an allusion to the 7 deadly sins then its possible all these champions will receive the "7 Deadly Skins" (See, the play on words there), each representing a different sin. Also Twisted Fate's cards are white on the website which is possibly an indication of him being "controlled" in some fashion by Kallista and the puppet "theme" is strong in the Harrowing Video too.

I don't know why but when I think about Kallista and the Black Mist, Final Destination pops into my head. Some sort of avenging, natural force?

How do we even know Kallista is a thing. I mean no one in Riot has said a word about the mysterious Kallista sinces he/she was first supposedly leaked.

Okay, I just typed a long thing about Kallista and it wouldnt post and got deleted, so I'm going to do my best to remember everything I put in there. I see two themes withing this whole thing: 1) Puppets/ Possession/ Controlling and 2) Betrayal. The 7 champions with the foggy champion pages have betrayed somebody in some way, except Hecarim, but that's only because he doesn't have much to his lore. Even in the Harrowing cinematic, after the female puppet is killed, she betrays the other puppet. And if you look at Fabulista's posts, he seems to be getting controlled. It's even possible that the next champion is Fabulista's body being controlled by Kallista. Also I found it kinda odd how their names both end in -lista. Probably has no meaning though.

Another thing I noticed is the head with the eye in the forehead that is almost the icon for the Harrowing this year. It was said by the same person that leaked Gnar and URF mode that this is Kallista's head. I am a little hesitant about him being right about this because a very similar head was shown on the promo page for Twisted Treeline back in 2012. These two heads are almost too similar to be not related, but are too different to be the same character, unless Kallista was thought of way back in 2012, but she kept getting scrapped, put away, and remade like Azir was. I thought I saw that head last year as well, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It caught my eye in 2012 because it reminded me of the scrapped champion Averdrian.
