They all have wings, and all of their lore connects them to an ancient race. Aatrox's being Darkin. If not, when are more Darkin going to be released. Riot said their were five. Who are the other Darkin?

Aatrox the Darkin Blade. I think it would actually be really cool for lore. A cool sword that gives the wielder it's power and skill. It could also change the wielder's physical appearance to what the sword would look like as an actual person rather than a weapon.

That "living armor" bit is what makes me think it's possibly Darkin.

DrCyanide2 votesI'm not familiar with the JoJ entries, but the lore quote I posted only says that the armor was used by the trolls, not that it was made by them.
The Darkin, to the best speculation I've seen, are weapons themselves that possess their users. Thus, Varus is most likely in the process of being controlled by the Darkin he wields. Aatrox is "the Darkin Blade", not the being that wields the blade. In this same train of thought, Warmog's may have possessed it's users for a while. What's unknown is why Warmog's would reject it's wearer and kill them.

However I really doubt that they are going to be darkins,I mean Kayles and Morganas story is about the fight of their people,but if only 5 are left,then a fight would be pointless.

Ashikkon1 votesDialogue between Aatrox and Varus confirms that Varus is indeed a Darkin. They seem to have a naming convention. Rhaast inhabiting Kayn makes for 3 Darkin in current circulation to go along with 3 Aspects of Targon, Then we have otherworldly beings in Kayle and Morgana, and a World Eater in Aurelion Sol. I think if Morgana was to be a Darkin, Kayle would be an Aspect, but I don't know if we've anyone to answer for Aurelion Sol.
