Why didn't Riot have an orchestra concert in which they played various champion themes, event music (such as SG), etc for 2018? they did them for the previous years. I was really hoping they would do one this year, one, because I love to see how they put the music together, and second, I wanted to hear my girl Irelia's theme performed.
I posted a link incase anyone wanted to see 2017's live orchestra performance.
Because they wanted to zoom in on those K/DA buc$$.
And hey, it worked.
Hopefully it comes back this year. K/DA isn't new anymore.
As EdgeLady stated, most likely all of the musical performance focus on K/DA last year.
I hope we'll see it this year :(
Because budget cuts and major 33% revenue drop in 2018 via Fortnite hype, the recent Chinese anti-game laws, Riot's shitty balance team, their sexual harassment scandals, none of their supposed secret game projects ever seeing the light of day and even getting completely canned after 4+ years of development time and etc.
Riot can't waste their money on frivolous things like orchestra concerts or consistently fancy esports events anymore.
We had alot of really high quality, good music last year
The themes of God King Garen, Gun Goddess Miss Fortune and Akali were some of the standouts I was looking forwards to hearing in orchestra
