[ZED] Deadeye - (Possible Image of Deadeye Already Shown) Thoughts?

So as we know, the Zed champion page has changed hinting at something. For reference: http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/zed/

By chance, is this related to the shadow figure that appears through the past cinematic? There is speculation that the teaser is somehow related to the PROJECT skins.

In the cinematic, a figure appears behind Zed on numerous occasions as well as lurks throughout the video. Is this an unknown champion perhaps? Or am I just blind and not realizing what this figure is. Also, what's strange is towards the end of the cinematic you see a similar pedal like flow to what the updated champion icon shows.

Riot has a history of hiding new and upcoming champions in cinematic. One of the most recent examples is the Curse of the Sad Mummy video where you can see Kindred Wolf lurking around Amumu as he walks through the forest. In the PROJECT cinematic, the figure only appears behind Zed and he is the only champion who has had their page altered.

Also, if a Rioter happens to see this, am I searching in the right direction?

I thought about this dude as well. His appearance in the cinematic might have been a Champion teaser all along. What really drives the idea home is the flower petals in both the PROJECT cinematic and Zed's new portrait. I guess it could just be a happy coincidence, but I don't think so.

Edit: At 2:12 in the cinematic you can also notice he seems to be "fighting" alongside Zed.

What's weird is that it points to Deadeye being a marksmen in other Reddit Posts. I'm wondering if, although this guy has two swords, if he's able to somehow shoot projectiles from them in some way.

Well if we zoom we can see a flower coming out of Zed's eye and neck with blue light on his heart (left) and his head. But the shadows were surrounding him in dark color just like tentacles and obviously he was shot and there are some leaves in the animated picture of the same flower wich ionia is known for. What do you think guys??

I don't believe it's connected to that mysterious PROJECT character so easily .. or not at all.

#I suspect a huge welcoming Zed Story & Lore Overhaul.

Zed Splash: The obvious black shadow (left-side) may not have been there originally, too. I noticed this on Champion Spotlight thumbnail. O.o Zed Portrait: Why's he look sad? Does he finally have some humanity? Red Petals: (Symbolism) Not clear: he is overwhelmed with Feels.

Personally, I like the idea that Nocturne is the nightmarish Shadow in Zed. Kinkou Order mission: Sent to recover a relic he was instead consumed by it. I'd also like Nocturne to be identified as a Demon and Zed's his Agent of Shadow.

Great catch.

My guess. Zed transforms. Perhaps becomes what his master always intended him to be.

Shen becomes the one that falls to shadow.

New Shen is allied with the Yi's enemy from the PROJECT trailer.

No idea how Sona, Garen and Vi are involved. But perhaps they are just tied into the event like how Olaf, MF and Lucian were tied into the the Harrowing.

Also lots of flower petals in the cinematic like the flowers in the zed teaser. No clue, but I don't think Deadeye (traditionally a shooting name) would have two swords.
