Does this mean the Black Ice is actually True Ice corrupted by the Void? And the Iceborn are humans altered by the Void too? This would explain why they look so pale-blue, and their lifespan. But why Iceborn and Frozen Watchers use ice magic instead of Void Energy? is it because the Watchers adapted to the Freljord's icy weather when they came from the Void?

Well it is possible that there are different subgroups of watchers. The ones of the freljord are the frozen watchers,while another kind of watchers is responsible for the void.

Eitherway I think it is unlikely that the black ice/iceborn is related to the void in any way except for the fact that the watchers are responsible for both of them.

Well, just because you rule something, it doesnt mean that have control over the powers of that something. This may sound stupid and the example that im going to give is even more stupid but: Pokemon trainers have control over the pokemon, right? But that doesnt mean that Ash can use electric atacks like Pikachu. The same could be aplied to the Watchers, maybe they control the Void creatures because they cant use the powers of the Void by themselves.

The Iceborn are void related, but as far as I understood all humans that are officially connected to the void have been involuntarily altered or at least haven't ever been in contact with a watcher, while they Iceborn have been granted powers and immortality by the watchers themselves.

The ice powers might just have been convenient at the time, but there's no good answer to it yet

The are different types of watchers or they are more then just few.As stated in the lore...a horde of creatures enslaved the people of Frejlord...

Interesting,but honestly I hope not. It's kinda getting a trend that nearly every great evil comes or is,from the Void.

I think this responses confirms that that the Watchers are alive ( meh we knew that) and if Anivia were to be corrupted,she would be like a vessel for the Watchers until they're set free.

They appear to be like cyclops with additional arms, horns?. I would prefer if they were some kind of space alien thingies ( fun fact, the deep space is actually really cold ) . Might be dumb,but IMO
