Order & Chaos: a Missed Opportunity

I must say, what we've seen so far about the new Order and Chaos themes looks pretty nifty, the skins and specially the splash arts are completely stunning and downright gorgeous. Great job.

Still, this does connect with a long time pain of mine, which is the state of our favourite, actual angels in the game, who had their lore orphaned with the lore retcon, back in... 2015? Kayle, and Morgana. With them being pretty much the embodiment of Order and Chaos, and their fraternal war being literally the same conflict Dawnbringer Riven and Nightbringer Yasuo are going to be fighting, why wasn't this used as the basis for their so-long-postponed updates?

You've told us many times over the last years that the reasons for not updating these champs (who are in desperate need of new voiceovers and animations, since models at least look half-decent since the texture update or Morg's new particles) is that you still haven't figured out what direction to take with them. Was the Order/Chaos thematic ever brought to the topic? Were Kayle and Morgana ever considered as the front characters for this event? If so, what made you discard the idea in favor of Riven and Yasuo? If not, how was this never even brought to the table?

All in all, the new skins are great and I'll most likely get Riven's in fact (more of a Chaos dude myself, ironically, Morg main) but I can't help but think of the missed oportunities here. I don't know, maybe you didn't want this to look like a blatant ripoff of Diablo and its High Heavens vs Burning Hells theme for anything more important than a single skin (Shadowfire Kindred, lookin' at you), but I think the aesthetics you have settled for are distinct enough that they could have been used for Kayle and Morgana directly. Maybe it's just that I feel they've been neglected for so long (and as a Morg main, maybe I feel so have I).

This has been longer than I intended, but more than anything I just wanted to hear some opinions from you guys at Riot on the matter. Thank you for the attention, any thoughts shared will be much appreciated. Even if this ends up not being their core theme once they're updated forever in the future, they should still totally get these skins.

It's funny how this hasn't occur to me to imply Morg and Kayle to this skin line as an actually VU to them. (Especially since I'm a Morg main myself).

And just like how PF Cait lacks any interactive lines to Vi, so does the NightBringer Yas and DawnBringer Riven do to both Kayle and Morg. Not even death lines towards killing them.

Anyway, when they do rework Morg and Kayle there is one thing they have to do with them and that's the interactive lines when one sibling is in the enemy team.
