Dear forum readers!

Nowadays i spend a lot of time thinking about writing a story, set in Valoran. (Only for fun, not publishing). I tought about writing it a bit further in time, with own characters, not champions, and ignoring "League". Basically only using the world.

If you were reading a book like this, which place of Valoran would you be most interested of? Maybe Shurima? Reading about the rise of the misterious empire? The Shadow Isles or the dimension of Void? A story about a "dark invasion"? Freljord? The war of the three sisters? Jungle book 2 set in Kumungu? Maybe a pirate tale set in Bilgewater, or an Ionian Wuju blademaster's life?

I simply can not decide which place would be the best for a story, because there are so many interesting ones. I hope you guys can help me a little bit.

Best regards, M. Daniel (Apologies for grammar mistakes, i'm not a native speaker.)

Any location is suited for an expanded lore. The obvious ones would be the large nations (any of the would suffice, as it is now, they dont have much lore around them), then specific tribes like the Solari and Rakkor, the Voodoo Lands... It would also be nice to have an updated map showcasing whats new in this post-retcon Runeterra.

They should also talk more about the NPS of the world like Ezreals uncle, Jarvan III, Senna, Katarinas father and so on. In that regard it would flesh out the world a bit more, while still expanding upon the champions themselves (cause NPCs that are close to the champions would also fill in some story elements of the champions)

Yes, that would be really nice to have an updated map and some words about what is going on nowadays in Valoran. There is incredible amount of potential in this universe, it just needs to be a bit more living.

Actually, a vivid "Game of Thrones" could easily be running in this diverse world.

What i actually mean by "Game of Thrones" is the constant "game" (wars, allies etc.) of nations and not the medieval setting.

... What actually brings up some interesting questions like: Would it be realistic that Demacia and Noxus are fighting regular battles with swords, spears and bows and someone from Piltover or Zaun joins in with a machine gun?

Im most interested in Kaladoun. I hope you can write a good story using all the wonderful lore rito has provided about this place. Kappa.
