Singleplayer-Offline-Lore-Based Game

So here is my thought... LoL is currently a MMO. Is there anyway it can be evolved into a game that consists of online multiplayer AND offline, lore-based singleplayer? Let's say you start this single player game as Garen or Jarvan- someone of high standards and nobility. You will progress through a lore-based game, introducing us to more about the lore than we think we know, and allowing us to choose if we want to remain friendly, or turn evil by joining Noxus. I don't think I could possibly get creative enough into writing the whole story, but I'm sure other players would love this spin off added to the regular game. I know i would. I know you'd like the idea if Ahri liked it... ;)

yeah, LoL is basically the PvP version of Diablo, except D3 characters were garbage. If LoL actually had a story mode, ermergerd, i would buy that in a heartbeat.

What i imagine, each champ would belong to a certain story arc. Might be hard to explain, but a story arc would be a single story in which multiple champs play their own story within. I could imagine each champ's story taking maybe 2-3 hours to fully complete, anything less than that I don't think could hold enough content, anything more would be its own stand alone game.

Shurima champs would play in the Shurima arc. Azir would play his side of the story, Cass would play her side, Nasus would play his side of the story.

Noxus champs would play the noxus arc. Darius/ Sion

Of course you would have to pay for each champ's story, similar to buying an expansion. which seems fair considering how many champs their are.

This seems like a good way to take the franchise. Would be a great add on, and no doubt a real cash cow.

Not likely. They're probably gonna be too busy working on e$ports.

Even though if I can play an MMO as Lulu, Veigar, or even Twitch, that would be sweet.

I had a concept like this except the main character was a Summoner and the Institute of War broke down forcing the Summoner to make allegiances with Champions

Without the Institute of War restrictions they can now die, and he does this in order to survive against everything else (Institute of War was the only thing keeping Runeterra from apocalypse)

This is Rito.

That will never happen. Too much work. Obviously the people want ONLY new Champions.

-_-

I thought of something similar and then i remembered oh, wait... Diablo III is a terrible disappointment lacking in pvp and all the things that made Diablo 2 a success.

The MOBA Strife is currently working on a sidestory. The game is veeeeeery similar to League of legends and you usually play 5vs5 too. The first episode of the story is already released. It's not much, but it's quite fun and the bossbattle was quite difficcult I think. Yes, League of Legends needs something like this too. League is by far the best MOBA I've played (I played Strife, Heroes of Newerth, Dota 2 and LoL).

Honestly I would be fine with any form of offline game play for League

inb4 Lore-fiends point out that Noxus isn't evil and Demacia isn't good.

I always had thought about that, in my opinion once you unlock the champion then you should get access to its own small story line nothing serious just to have an idea of what is going on in that characters lore. The only challenge this faces is the retconn they do, every time a champ becomes updated they change other things potentially messing up any small game mode.
