I agree with you whole heartedly. :D One of the best things riot has made.

RiotDyQuillJan 4, 20188 votes

Will pass it along to the team!

I'm not sure if it is possible, but, if I am to make one suggestion.....

Is it at all possible to make the animated splash arts as backgrounds instead of just screen savers?

RiotRiot wuddaheqJan 5, 20184 votes

Hey Paleo, we weren't able to find a solution that didn't compromise performance of your computer for this idea. If that changes we'll be sure to let you know!

Electro522Jan 5, 20181 votes

Awwww.

Oh well. No harm in asking.

TTWheatleyJan 6, 20182 votes

can you guys make official high quality animated wallpapers for wallpaper engine tho ?

Riotusher voiceJan 5, 20186 votes

Hey! that was one thing we were interested in adding to the app, but we found that it could hurt your computer's performance pretty substantially (unless you have a sweet set up). And so we didn't include it as a feature, but some other players have pointed out that you can use League Displays to download the animated .webm files and then use a program like Wallpaper Engine to set them as your wallpaper. Takes a few more steps, but should work for you power users! :)

Hmmm.....alright then. I'll tryit out when I get the chance.

Cant you have something like the login screen where you can disable the animation? Doesn't sound too hard to me(although I've never programmed something as advanced as the league client). It would satisfy everyone, low stats PCs and ultra-tech PCs.

I have an issue in that in Elementalist Lux's splash art in League Displays, part of her wand is transparent when it's not supposed to be, and I think there's a similar issue with the animated splash.

I'll pass this along and see if we can get that fixed!

Already commented on a thread like this and will comment again the same thing, I love this new app, thanks Riot. To think some of us complain they get nothing for free. LoL is free, runes are free too now, what a time to be a new player!

Hey all, League Displays team here and just wanted to say thank you for this! Glad to hear you like it!

Blood MagicksJan 5, 20181 votes

Hey, thank you for the great work! I enjoy the app too but I noticed that two of Vladimir's newest splashes (Count and Marquis from October 2016) have not been added and instead you're using the old ones. Would it be possible to add them, especially Marquis? Thanks.

Would be awesome to have it on the phone as well.

Isn't it basically Wallpaper Engine with LoL related content only?

Don't know how Wallpaper Engine works. But this is free and awesome :)

Kavren2055Jan 5, 20182 votes

Not quite, its not a background, but sleep screen.

I love it.

But if you have 2 monitors it can be weird since they both show separate images

Mig89Jan 5, 20182 votes

I love that they show separate images. I have three monitors and it displays a different animated Screen Saver on each. I love this app myself because while im working it changes background too

PlacentasJan 5, 20181 votes

Sorry, did I miss something? What are you talkin about?
