Azir's New Lore

In the deep deserts of Shurima, scorpions scattered through the scorching sand, beetles roam through the area in search for food, there was once a city, once ruled by a powerful emperor, his name was Azir. He was once a mortal being, just like us, destined for power and wealth. He was caught in a battle against Xerath his mortal enemy. The fight went on for hours, hours into days, days into hours. No one knew how long it lasted, but all they know was how strong the rivalry was between Azir and Xerath. The battle came to an end when Azir was shot with a killing blow through his heart; he was left on the floor bleeding. Dying. After years from the fight, Azir awoken from his grave as an Ascended dominion over the burning sand, he was destined for revenge and wanted Xerath dead. He was seeking to restore Shurima’s glory and pride, some still dispute his rights to rule it. Azir’s power however, is undeniable.
