Ivern's relationship with rengar?

Since both the characters come from Kumungu jungle, I'm sure they both must have met. Are they enemies? Ivern tries to protect the beasts in the jungle but Rengar is more like a savage bounty hunter. Or does Ivern share a half friend-half rival relationship with rengar where Ivern protects the weak beings while if there is a threat to the forests like some other savage beast or maybe khazix, rengar kills it in order to claim his trophy and to protect his forest? What are your thoughts?

It was never confirmed that Rengar was in the kumungu jungle and Ivern might have left the place before Rengar was even born(keep in mind that Ivern is hundreds,if not thousands of years old and that he doesn't seem to stay in one forest forever)

Anyway I doubt that ivern would be very fond of rengar,as Rengar hunts only as a sport. Ivern has no problem with hunters hunting animals for food or resoureces,but Rengar doesn't do that,he basically kills for fun.

Nah he seems like the kind of guy who would hang Kha'ixs head over his fireplace.

I mean keep in mind that even though rengar is a half-human-half-lion-thing he was raised by a human.

i dont mean the whole trophie but the extra bits like say if he killed a rhino fo a horn trophie hed eat the rest and keep the horn

Well I could see that happening,but in the end we'll have to wait until we get a bit more info on Rengar.

Well, I'm unsure if this is is true, but I heard that Ivern accepts hunters, because they're a part of life, and can't be avoided. But he does hate hunters that don't make full use of their victims, like... Killing an animal for it's tusks/horn/etc and not making use of the meat.

Basically, hating hunters that kill for sport and not for survival.

But he's clearly spent the majority of his time outside of both continents. Sometimes when taking the Brambleback Camp, he yells "It's the Kumungu incident all over again!" indicating he's at least spent time there. It doesn't mean he currently resides there though.

I like the idea that it's a 50/50 thing. Rengar does hunt for fun & sport, but it he does seem like someone who would eat up the rest of the body or make use of the skins and bones outside of the trophy.

Rengar also only goes after big game & I doubt he collects more than 1 trophy per species of thing he hunted so it's not like he is throwing the jungle into chaos. I think Ivern and Rengar would be mutually chill.
