He isn't just some mindless brute or war loving monster. You get a feel for a torturous existence inside him as he struggles to grasp an understanding of what he is, only for it to disappear the moment blood is shed. Not to mention that all of his abilities carry significant weight onto the battlefield. They actually feel like they, "Shatter the earth." upon landing, like you are this undead behemoth of war and destruction.
. Oh man. I've been playing since beta and when she came out I knew I was going to love her. Her lore is awesome. She's literally so powerful that Runeterrans did everything in their power just to keep her locked up. Her and Lissandra could have such a cool rivalry. Her kit is also, I feel, the hardest kit to make full use of in the game. Her Q creates so much micromanagement and if you get enough CDR you end up being able to have 4-5 going during battle with ease. Like Lux, she fights all her battles outside the enemy's range but unlike Lux she actually has the zoning potential to do that due to her consistent zoning potential with so many abilities that affect the environment. She's just so fun and unique and I'll always pick her when I'm stumped for who to play mid.

I don't know why, but I loved Skarner since the minute they showed his concept art at E3 or PAX or something years ago.
It was in a pack with a necromancer and a female tank, which were both very common requests at the time, so that summer was full on hype mode. And since back then, Riot's main focus was still pumping champs out every two weeks, it had to be coming soon.
Well, first up was the female tank,
. I remember her release being three weeks instead of two, back when that was a big deal :p. I liked her, I still do, but I was waiting for my crystal bug.
Then we got the necromancer,
, and I think that's when Riot learned the lesson of "two week releases might not be the best idea", considering that on Yorick's release, he was super underpowered and came coupled with a bug that could give the enemy team free kills for the rest of the match, as he was stuck respawning in one place with 1 HP, forever.
But...okay, I mean, at least the Scorpion is next! Riot did a surprise release of a monkey with a staff
and I continued to slowly gaze upon my distant purple bug.
Then Skarner finally came out and in the end? I...didn't really like playing him. But I think he'll always hold a special place in my heart for being, like, the champion I had the most hype for. Season 2 was kinda the peak of my League interest, and it was a pretty fun ride. I associate him with a lot of good memories because of that.
Kindred Her kit is amazing, and 100% unique, sure, there may be things similar(like kindreds e and other abilities like it) but i love their lore, their design and just how amazing they are, i just iwhs they could at least give her a little buff.
Morde
Xerath is the only real poke ap champ. Ziggs and Vel'Koz can deal huge AoE damage. Xerath is also themetically the only ascended that is different than most of.
I am also biased but whatever.
Does anyone do the same as him?
The fact that you do true damage in an AOE range post-death really makes it for me. Leveling up to 30 I died, a lot. So Koggy's passive helped me get fed b/c nobody knew to run away from him when he died pre level 30
