Hey riot I was looking at Shaco recently and I noticed that he has not gotten a new skin in a while. I love the champ and would be super excited to see some new work on him!!!!! Personally I think a marauder or warden Shaco would be really cool! Anyway just throwing some ideas at you :D

EDIT: So why am i getting downvoted here? I mean seriously I am just saying how it is,I'm not saying that Shaco shouldn't get a new skin or can't get one at all,I'm merely explaining why Riot likely won't give him one based on the facts.

GreenLore1 votesShaco is on the visual&gameplay update list,which covers reworks that are similar in scale to the 
reworks.
The champions on this list are never among the big reworks for a class rework,because Riot is sure that a class rework won't be enough to update these champions enough(thats why the Morde rework failed,because he needs a big VGU and the class rework wasn't able to deliver on that). However they do give them minor updates who basically act as "bandaids" for the champions until they get their big VGUs.
are all on the VGU list,they may have received changes during the class updates,but these changes were only there to improve them a bit until they get their big rework.

GreenLore2 votesSwain,Eve and Akali all received some minor tweaks during their class updates,but they are still on the VGU list and thus unable to get skins(several champs went without skins for years,so Shacos update being still far away is likely no reason for riot to give him a skin)

Akali on the other hand was likely added later to the list,so her skin was already too far in production to cancel, when she was added.
The only exception of a champ who got a skin despite being on the VGU list is who received her safecracker skin back in 2014(yes she was already on the VGU list back then) and she didn't receive another skin since then.

All it means is that it's possible for them to get skins, like Eve did, however it's unlikely in the case of some champions.
Unless they are fully committed to working on the champion they still have a small chance of reviving something.

And like I said,Riot themselves said that this work during the mage rework was just a bandaid(also Zyra received a big update during the mage update,wheras Swain only received a minor one).
even if he has a VGU in the future cause again that VGU won't happen for many years. Riot showed that they have no problem with letting champs go without a skin because they are on the VGU-list and they specifically said that Eve was an exception to the rule. Just look at Urgot for example,the guy didn't get a skin since his Battlecast skin(or Yorick who only recently became able to get skins again)
All it means is that it's possible for them to get skins, like Eve did, however it's unlikely in the case of some champions.
Pls read my posts more carefully. I said in my post that Shaco will likely not get a new skin. I never said that its impossible for him.

GreenLore1 votesThats because Shaco isn't currently in the works. They are currently working on Galio,Urgot and Evelynn. Once Urgot is relatively close to being finished,they'll look at who should be next,which will most likely be a champ who is considered to be "Tier1" among the VGU-candidates
