The rework looks sweet, but our main lady Beatrice is gone. Where'd our best bird friend go? What the heck riot!?!

She's in his splash art, shows up during his recall and GOES INSIDE HIS ARM (so she's inside him giving him power rather than on his shoulder), his W is her eye and when he activates ult her face flashes above his head. She's there no need to worry fam. As an added bonus, when you walk around the map with new Swain and use abilities ravens fly in and start to watch you from the terrain. It's badass.

Beatrice IS Swain not just some sideshow. Is Naruto the kyuubi, the nine tailed beast, or is a little fox following him around? Every time you play Swain you should feel like part of the flock. You shouldn't have to search, rationalize, or be remembered you are playing with birds because they should be in your face!

Yes, I too am an avian friend and thoroughly disappointed by how little birds actually appear in his skill set. Previously, every time you pressed Q or R, BAM!! you were reminded you were playing the bird man and joy was felt. Now Riot has taken the most quintessential part of Swain and made it an afterthought! Talk about insulting.

When he Recalls i OBLITERATES the bird that lands on his hand, Either that or he teleports It back to the fountain/noxus if he's Teleporting it then it's probably Beatrice.
