Blackthorn Morgana and Viridian Kayle... If only... (+ Judgment Kayle Plea)

2/25 PBE Update: More Splash and Skin Tweaks

I write this post with the utmost respect for Riot and I have really enjoyed most of the Kayle and Morgana reworks. But I will say I am disappointed you all took Blackthorn Morgana and Viridian Kayle and put them into an entirely new skin line. I felt, along with quite a few other members of the community, they fit perfectly into the Elderwood/Coven line. Those lines have (from my perspective) had great success and they fit the theme SO well. Yes, it's a darker AU but you have to have light and dark to balance each other out. I'm sad to see you create another skin line that's so similar to another but oh well.

Lol. I do not know why I wanted to make a post about this. Maybe I think if I add to the noise and the noise is loud enough, it'll help. In the end, this is of VERY little consequence and I get that. I'll get over it but just wanted to voice my opinion respectfully.

Judgment Kayle:

I really have enjoyed like 95% of these reworks! I don't have many complaints and I'm willing to set them all aside if you all released Judgment Kayle for a limited time. I FIRST bought Viridian Kayle because I LOVED the green armor with the black wings. So pretty. Then she got a texture update and her wings turned a bit more gray than black but all was still good. So gorgeous. I just knew she'd join the Elderwood line but.... Sadly no. BUT Judgment Kayle is now that green goddess with the black wings that I find SOOOOO amazing! My plea is that you all make Judgment Kayle a possibility for the lonely little peons like me who didn't even own a computer during Season 1. I understand the significance of "limited" or "rare," but.... If the game is about having fun and if your customers are willing to pay you money for something, isn't that bad business to say no?

Anyways, continue doing an amazing job Riot. Even with my complaints, you all still knock these things out of the park. Can't wait for what 2019 holds for us.

i really want judgement kayle too. it was one of those skins i waited for since i started playing the game in season 2. i always hoped it would come back and now after the rework the skin looks even better.

They said that they are in a new Skin set not a new Universe as they haven't placed them in one yet. So they could still end up in the Eclipse Universe (as it is called) in the future.

I agree on the blackthorn and viridian skin.

As for Judgement Kayle, next people will be asking for UFO Corki or King Rammus. Or Silver Kayle. Or Black Alistar and Human Ryze. Or hell, what about Victorious Jarvan and Janna because not a lot of people played ranked back then? And while we're at it we might as well make every ranked and prestige skin obtainable again because not everyone had the time necessary to grind ranked or farm tokens when they had the chance (exaggeration proves the point).

My point is, I feel like it's a slippery slope. Limited is limited for a reason, and if we start bringing back limited skins, they stop feeling special and stop being limited. Nothing is special when everyone can just get it. I feel like we should let the early adopters have their rewards and bragging rights instead of buying trophies which we didn't earn. Maybe the people who own the skins might actually start using them now that they're starting to look great and stand out from the crowd.

Some would call this opinion entitled coming from those owning those limited skins, but on the other hand it could be argued that it's even more entitled to believe that you're entitled to those limited skins regardless of whether you earned them or were playing at the time.
