rek is probably going to be one of the biggest hurdles for azir, probably right after xerath. She is occupying quite a bit of ancient shuriman land after all. did you guys just feel like we have had enough of void after targon? because we didn't get to know any void beings from there, and even if we did rek has a closer connection to shurima than the void in my understanding.
Because he is not aware of what happened in the milenia that he was dead, if I were him, i would suppose that people fixed the void problem after 1000 years.
It should easy to stop her in a desert, field that Azir becomes the most powerful. Or may be Skarner becomes ally with Azir and Skarner tries to stop her.
Rek'Sai inhabits Shurima, but is a creature of the Void. They most likely will bundle her long lore with that of other Void denizens, similar to how they did with the Targon lores.
This way they can explore the relationships Rek'Sai has with their fellow Voidborn, and expand on the lore of that faction, rather than limiting themselves to what they can tell about her and Shurima.
