Reworked Ezreal Theory: Aatrox's Gauntlet

After reading the new lore on the universe page for reworked EzrealEzreal , I came up with this theory about the new Ez: **His gauntlet was Aatrox's.Aatrox **

DISCLAIMER: This theory is reliant on the theory I've seen other threads here that state that Justicar Aatrox post rework is what Aatrox looked like before he and the other Ascended were corrupted by the void and became the Darkin we know and love. I'd love to go more in-depth on this, but that is for another time.

Okay here is the evidence:

  1. Ezreal's new lore states that the gauntlet he found was "fit for a god-warrior of shurima." We know that Ezreal found his gauntlet in a Shuriman tomb, and that "god-warriors" is what the ascended of Shurima are often referred to in the lore stories.
  2. Justicar Aatrox's gauntlet looks similar to Ezreal's
  3. Justicar Aatrox is missing one of his gauntlets

That is pretty much all I've got right now.

Now to be fair there are holes in this already pointless theory, things you could say to disprove it:

  1. Justicar Aatrox is a skin and therefore could be considered not canon, as it is not a confirmed lore skin.
  2. The Gauntlets have gems in different places and therefore could potentially not be a matching pair
  3. Ezreal found the gauntlet in the tomb of Ne’Zuk, so its probably Ne’Zuk's gauntlet

I could go on with what I think about all these holes, but who really cares what I think.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading what I have to say, and have a nice day!

That would be pretty interesting and could lead to a potential in game interaction if true. I'd love a line from Aatrox that would say something alluding to the gauntlet being familiar.

I wonder if we'll ever learn more about Ne'Zuk...

While I doubt that it is Aatroxs,I do think that there is a decent chance that it might belong to a darkin.

After all the tomb was empty,so maybe it was built to contain a darkin weapon, but the darkin weapon was taken out of the tomb.It would also explain why the tomb was hidden,to prevent anyone from uncovering the darkin.
