Trundle, Splash Art Update Question

Hey there,

Hoping to get an official response on this, but I'm also interested in discussing the necessity of such changes. IIRC, official word is that Trundle's in the process of receiving some love for his older splash art. This is a great move. However, what will happen to the not-so-old artwork-- his basic artwork?

In my opinion, Trundle's base splash art is very well done, but just barely skirts the new standard set by Riot. Since he's already getting his other artwork touched up, is there any word on if he'll receive some work on his base splash, similar to how Tristana received a few different touch-ups?

And if so, would you guys welcome said changes? Maybe it's just me, but his splash just feels kinda flat/2-dimensional/lackluster compared to Constable Trundle's art.
