Can anyone clarify the actual difference between True Ice and Dark/Black Ice? And why does Lissandra have the ability to use this Dark ice? I've been reading a ton on the lore and I had thought that this dark ice was just corrupted true ice-- corrupted from the void, or more specifically the Watchers?
You re right: black ice is corrupted true ice( watchers) and lissandra has also elemental powers, so she can control both true ice and dark ice. She s also immortal thanks to watchers and has spiritual magic, because she can enter people's mind through their dreams Yes she s super strong. And dark ice is corrupted by the watchers because the void can t go into true ice, it hurts it. Also my last point is that we don't know if watchers are really at the origins of iceborn( cause they can be hurt by true ice, their own creation?) or if they just offered immortality to lissandra and her sister. Just my own theory
