What's with Riot and Blue Characters?
I get that some of these champions are a bit of a stretch, but still. Next up is Yorick turning blue.. Inb4 blue urgod?

here is the color chart for each champion, i based these off of their splash art + in-game model (hair/skin and armor color counts):

's VGU model is blue!!!

blue has a lot of connotations though, either way these champions aren't only blue but they combine several other colors in them that makes a theme shine through , for example comparing Aurelion Sol's intense blue/purple with Lissandra's low tone sky blue or Kalista's middle tone turquoise is a ridiculous :S
Not to mention that purple is used quite a lot as well, red too, and yellow... there's only 6 colors to choose from and there's over 120 champions...
Well, with the way they've been going with the Shadow Isle reworks and visual upgrades, "blue" can sometimes represent 'Undeath' in Runeterra. Not always, as shown with Moonboy's color-chart, but with the way the appearances of the updated Shadow Isles-Champs have been going, that's the direction it seems for me. Similarly, Gold or White seems to be the go-to color for Demacians, as with Red or Black for Noxians (Aside from some variants as shown in the color-chart by the aforementioned Moonboy). I don't know, color-code your champions to indicate where they're from in terms of a Lore-perspective?

They saw that Avatar movie with the aliens. Then they were like "BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
on another note, can't really blame the Frelljord champs, they live in ice-r-us over there so a lot of them are going to have light and cold looking colors as a theme.
The League Color has always been Purple. Blue is, however, a very close second.
Blue is a very nice color? It's also a calming color, though that doesn't stop the salt.
