If you look at there splash side by side then you can see what i mean. Is Tahm a void creature evolved into a fish.
To explain this theory I have 3 points
1- his top hat could belong to gentlemen cho'gath.
2- he has an endless hunger like a certain void creature we know.
3- he shares facial features with kog'maw.
Tahm is a demon, not a void monster.

1-Gentleman cho'gath is non-canon
2-All Void creatures hunger for something,not just kog'maw,but that doesn't mean non-void creatures can't be hungry too
3-The only similarity is that they both have big mouths,kog'maw is much more insectoid,while TK looks like a fish.
And no it was confirmed that Tahm Kench is not from the void,he is a demon from Runeterra.
