Those are placeholders for PBE, not the real borders.

I really like these borders (and division markers, they don't bother me), they look clean, elegant, simple, they are different than normal borders, but don't disrupt the aethetics on the login screen. The current borders look very tacky to me, and really clash with the rest of the login screen. Im on silver, and I wanted to reach Gold for the rewards (I really don't care about climbing, I started playing rankeds just out of curiosity) but the tacky gold border really made me wonder if it was worth it.

The division markers are meh, they don't bother me, IMO, the least markers, the better and cleaner the borders look, and to me is not counterintuitive at all. Thogt they would look better at the botton

Just get challenger, that one's pretty cool ;)
