It's making lores unbearably weak and just straight up boring.
I want more excitement, more world building. These can barely even be considered lore!

kitcat3001 votesAre you talking about the one paragraph Lores? Those are supposed to be temporary. Eventually, and yes I agree it has been frustratingly slow, they plan to give all the champions full length stories.
For example, if you look at the following champions web-pages-
and eventually
their lores are in the up-to-date format. (Biography/color story)
GreenLore1 votesMost champs who have such a small lore have their full lore on the website. The shurima champs and some of the champs who were released at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015 are still missing their full lores though.
