In response to Scathlocke's Karma lore update

So we are going to update Karma's lore again. No, we are not going to retcon it - we are going to improve it.

But we hear you. And we are on it.

With Riot's track record in relation to the Karma community, it is not particularly reassuring. I do hope you hear us loud and clear and not arbitrarily patronizing the Karma community with sweet lies _yet again. _

If you plan to improve Karma's lore:

A) Karma stays Karma. None of this Darha nonsense. B) She is still strong and independent. Not this wishy-washy, blundering fool who is going to try extreme pacifism because she killed people. C) Not some secondary character who is used to make Irelia look good. D) Her ideals are of balance: No extreme militarism/pacifism.

Anything less basically indicate to us that you weren't really listening.

Good luck!

We'll be waiting and watching to see if you are true to your words. [katarina-love]

They said they are going to improve it not scrap the new bio and build a new one.

OK, even though I personally don't like the Karma update...

You got a response from Riot saying they'll improve it.

That's more than Varus mains got.

Also, you're basically just asking them to retcon the new lore and replace it with the old one (which is fine, I preferred the old one too), rather than give them suggestions on how to take the current story arc into a different and potentially interesting direction.

Also, you sound like you're speaking for all Karma mains. Which, to be honest, I'm sure there are at least a few that like the lore change.

Riot's track record towards Karma mains has generally been radio silence.

This is an acknowledgement that they know that people are upset with her lore, and that they will work to bring it back around to match player expectations of her. That's WAY MORE than they've done in regards to Karma upsets in the past.

Not just how they've treated Karma, but how they've treated pretty much everything in the last 5 months. Only thing they did well was the Annie lore.
