Snow Day Syndra Suggestion

I wish that Snow Day Syndra could have a more human voice - like with Varus and his Arclight skin - since she looks like a human. I'd be nice.

This is something we did look into, but ultimately could not do because we didn't have unprocessed VO for all languages.

That is most unfortunate. You guys don't check game resources into a source code repo? If you do it isn't hard to get the originals back, provided those were checked in prior to modification. Good design practices would encourage committing iteratively instead of just the final product and then merging the branch back into mainline (trunk, master, etc... Depending on source control system).

I can see why it'd upset people. It definitely won't make me (or others) shy away from being transparent. I'm all for being honest when it comes to decisions behind skins.

Sad to hear. Syndras one of my favorites (even if i dont play her much anymore) and i love her VO. I used to play quite a bit of Varus and own the Arclight skin and think it would be a sweet idea to add the effect to her already amazing voice over. Her lines are very fitting for her theme.

I wonder if they'd be able to. For some of the older champs, the original voice files are the ones you hear, filter and all, and they can't just remove it.

But I guess Syndra came out after Varus, so they likely have the files on hand... Still, I'm not sure if they will. Could be cool, though.

It's a cool skin but why is it 1350 RP for the standard price? Compared to the Bard and Gnar skin it seems less "special" or "flashy." Different clothes and snowball effects mostly. The only thing that really makes it "pop" is the recall animation imo. I can understand the price on the Bard skin but not Syndra's. Am I missing something about the skin?

If you ask me, Snow Day Syndra is better than Snow Day Bard. I'm also sure, I am not the only one who thinks same. You think SD Syndra is overpriced, I think SD Bard is overpriced. It's all about taste.

Bard just has more textures to remodel like his shrines, ult, portal, meeps etc., whereas Syndra only has the spheres, outside of that only having left skill remodels, which don't feel as fancy since they don't last as long (ult pretty sick tho).

NOTE: This is also why Satan mains love skins. There's just so many different shroom replacements you can place down and kill your foes with while you're AFK looking at your invisible beautiful self.
