Thank you, Riot writers and artists!

Hey there folks,

I created this discussion for a single reason. I'd like to thank the entire story and art teams of Riot, for creating a rich world, with a truly unique feeling to it. I'm really grateful that aside from the gameplay and mechanical aspects of LoL, there is obvious love for this universe from the devs. Personally, whenever I play a champion, it's important I know his/her background, it gives more meaning to the pick, even if it was a necessary one for the team comp/counterpick.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately into the various stories and champion backgrounds, and I'm simply marveled. Well done!

Also, the aesthetics of the world, Summoner's Rift, and the champion designs just feel right. For example, it's really intriguing how some easter eggs are hidden in splash arts, or after you read the lore you start to notice details you didn't before.

The link I've added, is a TL;DR of the lore from 2015, from a a damn impressive hard working fellow by the name of Sharjo, although you've probably already read it, since it's a pinned post. I didn't even realise that I had missed quite a bit of information.

Well, that was about it. Time to finish up Shadow and Fortune and get going on the Targon event!

PS: My favorite one so far, as you could tell by my chosen icon, was the Freljord lore, but I do have a soft spot for the Freljord and the champs originating from there. Looking forward to more details about the Watchers and the probable(?) war!

PPS: Damn my memory. I almost forgot to praise the sound department. I find myself listening to champion themes on a loop almost every time I play them!
