#Theory #One: Justicar Aatrox is an alternative to the current lore of Runeterra

Justicar Aatrox may be how the currently possessed person would look after beating Aatrox, the demon! Kayn kinda shows us that it is possible to fight these demons and even keep their powers.

Moreover, this theory may explain a few things about the initial person and why he failed to fight Aatrox.

#Theory #Two: He used to be a Justicar!

The first thing that would come to mind is that this person was a sort of Justicar, trying to do good things at any cost. Throw in some despair, and the Justicar would even pay with his own life (or, in this case, picking up a weird sword) to fix things up.

And then... the slaughter comes... and Aatrox feeds of these bloodbaths to the point where he takes over his victim and becomes who we know. Justicar Aatrox would be the version where the person actually avoids anything major and fights only when it is necessary. This way, he gets control over himself, and then Aatrox.

#Theory #Three: Victims have a word to say!

Another thing that I believe is that these demons actually keep some aspects of their victims' personality, even after fully controling their bodies.

Aatrox in the old Lore was seen in multiple fights, inspiring Bloodlust to his allies... but why he never killed his allies at the end? After all, he just wanted to feed of their blood. Why did he pick a side when he most probably could fight both of them? And most importantly, why does he help the losing side every time, and at totally random moments of Runeterran history? I think Aatrox has some sense of justice enforced by the body he controls.

From their quotes and abilities, it seems like Rhaast wants to murder everything ASAP, but he still does his job in Kayn's way, which is kinda weird. Kayn is a patient assassin, who waits for the right moment to strike his targets from the shadows while Rhaast... would go straight to his targets and tear them to pieces. But he doesn't seem to do that even when he is in charge.

I think Varus is still figthing with his demon to be sure he achieves his vengeance before the demon is free. Can't wait to see his lore!

Anyway, thank you for taking your time reading this, and please tell me what is your opinion about these theories, or even bring your own!

I think theory 1 is more ok, just like justicar Syndra, an alternative history for Syndra, so justicar Aatrox can also be an alternative version for him
