Its theorized that Braum is iceborn, thus he can theoretically live forever.

However iceborn can still be killed,so if Braum tried to befriend with amumu, amumu might accidently kill him.

Braum also doesn't actually die in-game. After his respawn timer expires, his animation is him jumping all the way to home base. Basically, he just gets temporarily knocked out.

This I would like to read about. I'm a huge fan of League loredom....

I think in terms of his lore being told he is really just kinda like a folk tale if you think about it. Yes the man is very strong but that's not really any proof if he is ancient. Really the way his lore is being explained is he just some folk tale being told by some grandma to her granddaughter. So really Braum existed long ago perhaps during the times when the grandma was younger perhaps the age of her grandchild. Heck even his animation that was shown on when he was released portrayed him as someone from a folk tale. Really Braum's identity is like the strong hero from a fairy tale like the ones from grimm fariytales that originated in europe. But yes Amumu could use more friends :D.

Braum isn't a person exactly, but an ideal. Many men have borne the mantle of Braum, a succession of men who, instead of realizing that the world is doomed and everything is meaningless or that pleasure is the only thing that matters, have realized compassion is what truly matters. Such men are rare indeed, not to crack under the pressure and give in.

And I'm just bullshitting you, and think there's only one Braum, but that's nonetheless a cool idea. There needs to be more light in fiction.

Amumu is too short and Braum can't see him behind the shield.

If we had a timeline for the setting and if we could differentiate whats a folk tale and whats actual true historical saying, then it would be a lot easier to explain Braums nature.

Who said the lore was happening in current time? It could be happening a thousand years down the line for all we know.
