I just got gatekeeper galio, and I love the skin, however I noticed that it changed no animations or particles yet it's still a legendary skin. Would a change to animations and particles be possible or would that come with the galio rework? Just wanted to know as I payed 1820 for this skin.
Yeah there's quite a few older legendaries in the game that don't offer as much as newer ones, however the Galio VGU is supposed to improve upon his skin massively (much more than Tristana's did for FireFighter). So we just have to wait and see HOW much of an improvement it will be.
Actually, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to have at least a few new animation cycles (namely, heavy wing-flap 'walk', the Ultimate's turning his head up while holding the ground tightly, etc) and all new, ghastly VFX for his abilities. If that's not there, then it's probably a bug.

Anyways, the skin really doesn't offer as much as modern Legendary skins do.
Reav3 did say, however, that the plan is to give the Gatekeeper skin the minimal, modern Legendary qualities with Galio's update- While it won't be 'as Legendary' as, say, Mecha Zero Sion or PROJECT: Yi, it will be much more than the case of Firefighter Tristana or Alien Invader Heimerdinger.
It's pretty old. It'll get done new justice in Galio's VGU.
I don't know about fixing the skin but if not they should lower the price. Same for TF
Honestly don't see why you didn't look up a video preview of the skin on Youtube before you bought it if you have these kinds of problems with the skin. It's getting updated and the full Legendary treatment with the Galio update coming out in what I can only assume will be a few months away now. The skin does have new particle effects though, or at least a color change on them. I own and use the skin myself. It was released during a time before they really uped the ante on what they can do with Legendaries. Just wait, the glory of the true Gatekeeper is within reach.
Gallo is getting updated pretty soon, so take hope! It might not be as utterly amazing as some legendaries, since they said they didn't want to delay the update too much, but it should be a significant improvement over what it is now.

I mean sure,he doesn't have a complete set of new animations like other legendary skins,but saying that he has none,is simply wrong.
