Hextech Crystals = Dark Energy!!! Personal Theory

I was watching the video (posted link) and it explained to me, what dark energy was. Here's a summary;

    Dark energy is the result of empty space. In the empty space, "virtual" particles are "popping" into existence  ( because science). These particals chrash into each other and release energy and go out of existance again. 
    Key part; they realease energy out of nothing. Could hextech crystals ( a huge seemingly infinite source of power) be a materialized version of dark energy? 
    
    It's a bit of a stretch and there's alot of questions this would create, but i feel its a great explianation to what hextech crystals actually are and a bit of how they work. All this in a scientifically realistic way.
