I got a pet peeve involving Riven.

Whats up with her right hand?? Its huge!

If it were merely a crazy mutation or something I would just forget about it, but in her Redeemed Riven skin, her hand is normal sized, so there is a issue of consistency here that bugs the hell out of me. Both the splash art and the in game model reflect this, so what gives?

Can we get a reason as to why her right hand is that large?

Below I have her old splash, her current splash and her Redeemed Riven skin. Notice the difference in her hand.

Because her right hand has an over sized glove on it.

Compare the fingers of the glove with her other hand. She couldn't wear a glove that big if she wanted to with a normal sized hand.

EDIT: Redeemed Riven's glove is a big glove, but her hand is still proportional. All of her other skins, including her original, size up her hand by as much as four times.

If you wish, make a glove that big and try to wear it.

It's a glove imbued with rune magic to imitate the movements of her hand (exoskeleton)? How else would she have been able to wear her full armor?

Source? This is literally the first time I've heard this.

Assuming this is true, then why don't any other Noxians, like Darius, use this full armor? Why would she throw away one glove and not the other? Why would she need such a thing if she clearly is not using it in her Redeemed Riven skin?

Honestly I presume it.

This because it is supposedly part of her old armor (she uses some scraps of her old armor, so glove and shoulderplate seem the most obvious). Then the glove seems large enough to hold her entire hand without even touching the fingers and has a glowing rune on it. It seems quite reasonable to assumed it too was magical.

From her background:

So exceptional was her passion that the High Command recognized her with a black stone rune sword forged and enchanted with Noxian sorcery.

and from her judgement:

The remnants of her Noxian armor are tarnished, they speak of her absence from duty.

Try to imagine her in a full set of armor as huge as the shoulderplate/glove, that's what she wore before she exiled herself.

That doesn't answer any of the questions I gave you. Sorry if I'm coming off as a asshole, but this has been frustrating me for a while now. If I end up lacking any other reason, I'll just have to settle with what you gave me, but it leaves a bunch of questions unanswered and creates even more.

Also, its worth mentioning that if Riven is artificially using a hand much larger than her actual hand by using a exoskeleton which uses technology, or rather magic, that already exists, then the point of Vi making her trademark Hextech gauntlets are pretty much out the door as well. Vi could have just used what the Noxians apparently already had available in the form of armor if your theory is true.

That doesn't answer any of the questions I gave you. Sorry if I'm coming off as a asshole, but this has been frustrating me for a while now. If I end up lacking any other reason, I'll just have to settle with what you gave me, but it leaves a bunch of questions unanswered and creates even more.

In Vi's bacckground she scraps some tech together from Mining Equipment exosuit to create a weapon.

It was rather makeshift but likely improved over time.

That aside if Riven's description in the JoJ is correct, then it has no augmentation, or especial powers all by itself.
